GOAL continued to work in 13 countries in 2018. In Syria, GOAL assisted nearly 750,000 people by pumping one million liters of potable water to communities and 650,000 by providing bread through their bakery program. On the ground in Ethiopia, GOAL helped over 700,000 internally displaced people in 40 locations across the country. The partnership brought Dropboxers to GOAL’s Dublin headquarters to help them navigate complex data challenges around GDPR, cyber security, and remote access, all of which have proved invaluable to strengthening GOAL’s systems.
